Port Trigger

Port triggering is a way to automate the Port Forward procedure, in which outbound traffic on predetermined ports ('triggering ports') causes inbound traffic to specific incoming ports to be dynamically forwarded to the initiating host, while the outbound ports are in use. In this case your PC sends a signal to your router and your router forwards traffic in reply.

Required data for Tunngle

Configuring the Port Triggering means telling to your router that the UDP data that arrives on the External Port 11155 should be forwarded to your PC on the same Internal Port when it receives the trigger signal on the trigger port. This means that you'll need to set:

  • Trigger Port: 11443
  • Trigger Protocol: TCP
  • External Port: 11155
  • Internal Port: 11155
  • Forward Protocol: UDP
