My Custom DayZ Base with Vehicles!

Description
- This mod will unlock almost all vehicles, weapons and NPCs that were previously banned in the DayZ mod, it works by re-adding them into ther game via a config file. The main plus of rMod is that it should be compatible with every new update of the DayZ mod since it is standalone. No it is not a hack it is merely a mod server owners can use if they wish to use the original ArmA 2 items while using DayZ.
- @rMod folder (The mod itself)
- bikey file for server admin
- copy the @rmod folder into the root of your ArmA 2 OA
- go into Steam, find ArmA 2 OA, right click and select properties
- click on set launch options and find where it says

and change into this[email protected];@rMod
- Done! Connect to your server!
- complete all steps above ^
- go into the root of your OA install again and go into Keys folder, copy the bikey file in there
- find your server launcher batch file, right click edit with notepad and find this :
[email protected];@stats
and change into this[email protected];@stats;@rmod
- Go back to your root of OA, go into MPMissions and then into dayz_222.chernarus or whatever it is called
- find mission.sqm and right click it and edit, find this line:
version=11; class Mission { addOns[]= ....
and add a "," to the last one then press enter and add "rmod", so it looks something like this (depends whether its lingor or original)
Spoiler - Done! Launch your server!
- Go into Navicat and connect to your server
- go into hivemind/object data
- in object data, create a new record, in the first field (objectID) input the next number after the previous vehicle, so if the last vehicle was 22, this new one will be 23 etc..
- input any random sequence of numbers for objectUID
- input the same instance value as the others, in my case its 222
- input the class name of the new vehicle your going to add, check here for classnames:
Spoiler - imput any damage value you want , 0 for none and 1 for destroyed
- input 0 for characterid (it dont belong to anyone
)
- worldspace: you will need some worldspace data, one way you could get this is go into the server, check navicats character_data table and copy the worldspace of your character, {if its a big vehicle you might wanna go prone before you spawn a vehicle on yourself, unless you wanna get crushed
}
- just put [] for inventory to indicate its empty
- for fuel choose any value between 0 and 1, 0 being empty and 1 being full
- for datestamp just double click and press the green arrow to set it to just now
- and your done! when you next RESTART your server you will see your new vehicle!
- Remember you cannot repair your vehicle because it is not scripted like the dayZ mod vehicles so to fix it you must edit it back to full in the database.
- spawning vehicles by editing the DayZ mission in the editor will cause them to blow up when you get in them!
you MUST spawn them through your server's database! - If anyone makes a youtube vid please tell me and i'll add it to the thread

- [Q] I get error: You cannot play/edit this mission. It is dependant on downloadable content that has been deleted. rmod
[A] Please follow the instructions carefully, specifically the part about editing the mission.sqm and adding "rmod"
[Q] Getting stuck at the Loading Screen. what's wrong?
[A] Means there is a error causing the server to crash. this could mean a number of reasons from the mod/server is installed incorectly to there is a syntax error in the database of the server.
[Q] What do you use to edit your mission.sqm / config.cpp?
[A] I use notepad++ for all my text based editing/coding.
[Q] Can you Make a Base Building tutorial?
[A] I'm very busy at the momoment but I am sure there are tutorials out there, the gist is to create your own base in the editor, open your dayz mission file in the editor, merge the base mission with the dayz mission and then copy it back and replace your old mission file in the server folder. On another note I dont use the 3d editor so I cant help with that either.

[A] As of now with the new karma update, custom skins seem to have broken. if anyone knows a workaround feel free to share!

[A] Unfortunately no as this would require actual editing of the DayZ mod's Loot tables and vehicle spawning. You must add them yourself through the server database!
[Q] Is there any way to make the vehicles repairable?

[A] HumbleUK has searched for ways to get this server side. he came close as it was possible to add the coding into the actual mission file, however it was overwritten by DayZ mod on startup :/

[A] The mission file is corrupted, try getting a backup or a new one.
