Well here is even better way of showing heli wrecks!
1. Find your dayz_server.pbo
2. unpack it with cpbo.exe
3. open server_functions.sqf for edit (should be in /init folder)
4. add (in red)

5. repack dayz_server.pbo

What this does is it adds markers on the map for heli wrecks every time they are generated. So anyone with a map will see this:

which makes having map suddenly pretty useful
