Hi everybody!

Thanks for the topic. I have a few questions about my own serever and I hope I'll get some answers here.


1. How do I reduce the "respawn" time to shorter? No matter what I change, it still remains 10 secs.

2. How can I change teams once I'm in the game and how can I put somebody else in a different team?

3. When I got shot and injured a red blur is there to show I'm injured; how do I get rid of it?

4. How can I close a team with passwords for my team members (or otherwise reserve it)?

5. How can i kick/ban somebody from my server?

hey

1: If your server is hardcore you cant change the respawn time from 10 seconds. Make it softcore to do that
2: Off the top of my head I think there is an option in the settings to auto assign teams. If this is on you wont be able to change
3: The red blur is part of the game to show you are nearly dead. As far as i know this cant be turned off (someone correct me if im wrong)
4: Do you mean reserving player slots on the server for certain people?
5: To kick someone - /kick [player name]
   and to ban someone - /ban [player name]

Hm... those are ain't good news. Although I really don't understand. I played in HC server where the respawn time was like zero.

I have an other question though... how can I change the maps manually? Let's say I have a .dspl file with all the maps in it that rotates anyway and I'd like to have a particularly map - how can I do that?

If you want to change the map ingame then as the server admin type /map [map name]

Okay... and how do i do that? First of all: how I'm going to be the "admin" of my own server? second question: I can't open up the console. In MW and Mw2 it was the "0" (zero) button but not in MW3 and I also can't get out from the game with ALT+Tab to that console where I start my own dedicated server unless I leave the game.

So how do i do that?
