Hello :),

Description:
This thread is intended for all those that are having authentication issues on the client but not on the website:
  • Your nickname is alphanumeric (written with latin a-z and 0-9 only)
  • Your password is alphanumeric (written with latin a-z and 0-9 only)
  • You can login and post on the website meaning that your account is validated.
  • Your System_Locale matches your keyboard layout.
  • You still can't login with the Tunngle client and you get a 4-106 on startup

Note:
Please avoid posting here if your issue differs from the one described above.

Info:
We've compiled a new version of the Tunngle service that implements further logging.
What you need to do is just to run a few tests and collect some troubleshooting info for us.
This should help us getting Tunngle to work properly on your PC and solve the existing connectivity issues.

Required tools:
Here you can find the new Tunngle Service required for testing: http://specials.tunn...Debug-Nov10.zip :).

How to:
  • Go to Windows->Start->Run and type Services.msc
  • In the new window that opens up (A), right click and "Stop" the "Tunngle Service"
  • Unpack the Zip, copy and paste the extracted tnglctrl.exe file into the Tunngle Folder (make a backup of the previous one to restore it later without having to reinstall)
  • Start again the Service from Window (A)
  • Start Tunngle, verify that your credentials are correct, login and wait for the 4-106 error to appear. Repeat this a few times.
  • Capture the issue into a Debug.log
  • Reply to this message (using the same account you used for testing) describing the results of your test and attaching the Debug.log file you collected.

I don't know what's happens ... I doing all what's author write but when i click on Tunngle.exe i have error: (4-134): MISSING TEXT: [Global-MessageBoX-Error] GUIVersionMismatch ...

Before i have 4-106... i can't login... but i have account... what's a problem please tell me... Bad version Tunngle released ? (sorry for my bad English, but I from Poland)

We will update this troubleshooting tutorial soon (might take a few days because of some pending things ;)).

I hope that will be soon, because i can't play my favorites games... but this is strange because my brother play normal on his PC...

You can try to perform a general driver update starting from your motherboard chipset, the network card etc etc..
If you don't know how to find driver updates, try to find your computer or motherboard model and then visit the manufacturer website ;).
You can also try some of these tips http://www.tunngle.n...post__p__372561 to find out if there is another program that is interfering ;).

Yes, it was. I found my error, and I notice those above me have also got Tunngle Usernames which are different than their display name (in DasWarlockLord's case, WilliamTrout, in KuKiii92's case... kukiii92 (sans capitals)) Not sure if that's relevant or any help. I think it decided my name when I logged in with Facebook to register and didn't realise rednicdragon wasn't a username, only a display name.

Yes normal signup is probably more straightforward as you can choose your nick ;).

So i stared having issues with this error last night.I followed the steps in the first post and this is what I've gotten so far. I wasn't able to download that .zip file, the web page never loaded (i use chrome as my browser) but i was able to get the debug in th right path.I stopped the tunggle service then restarted it and launched the program, as administartor, and i was able to click on my bookmarks, previously the main page would freeze or i would get the 4-106, then it froze. on my second try it went stright to the 4-109. i hit ok, then select the tunggle adapter. i selected yes to associate the adapter with tunggle but it just goes back to the error. if i select "no" and manualy pick he tunngle adapter it still reverts back to the error. so i re-entered my login combo on the third try, i use the auto logon/rememebr me duo in the other try, i was able to make it father into the program but on entering the room i was only able to get to 2/5 and when i tried to stop it the program froze. i hope this helps :D

for the 4-109 error. are you using any other vpn software on pc ? make sure tunngle is on top of connections in network connection.

i took a look into my adapter setting and there was a "datalobby" adapter so i deleted it. i also noticed in there sometimes when i would try to log on and it froze the adapter wouldn't "unplug". but disabling and enabling didn't solve anything.

to make sure, which is which ( adapter ofc :D ) type ipconfig /all in cmd. there you can find liist of adapters and configuration with ip adress & other stuff, so you know what you need and what can be deleted ( by uninstall ) from windows

have you try to download link with zip file by using other web browser ?

so under cmd i only have tunngle, but it has a more then one line i hope this is normal. it shas 5 isatap line, and teredo tunneling pseudo interface.
i tried useing IE but it still wont load the page or start any download. :(

it comes with instaling software that makes connections under network connections and when you uninstall it, some trace of this connections are not rly removved. some of them are just system based connections, hiden for some reasons.

if you want to know mnore, simply google for it. best way to do it it's miicrosoft knowledge base. not sure why ppl not use it :hmm: )

well im not big on network know how and whatnot, but ill just re install tunngle and hope it works in the long run cause again i cant get that zip file..
