#1 How do I play online???
- First step, download the crysis.iso and extract it. Then find the system.cfg file and edit it with notepad and replace it with either this http://pastebin.com/b7KMLHAh or the modified one here http://pastebin.com/pqWVHTQH. Then, make a user.cfg file in the same folder and put this in it http://pastebin.com/mqsJjhNL

#2 How do I change my nickname?
- In your system.cfg file search for ' cl_nickname = "NICKNAME" ' edit the NICKNAME part. (Unverified)

#3 How to play on Tunngle servers?
- Click Join Match button in multiplayer menu and Search.

#4 How do I enter the console?
- To enter commands hit the ~ key, its to the left of 1 on US keyboards. Usually under the escape key.

#5 What to do if your game is not running well?
- Type these in your console to improve performance a bit:

#6 Want to run the game on max?
- Type the following into the console.

r_driver dx10     -   sets the direct x level, 11 is disabled
sys_spec 4    -  1 is gamer, 2 is advanced, 3 is hardcore, 4 is very high, 5 is xbox, and 6 is ps3
r_vsync 1
q_quality 3     -    sets all shaders to 3

#7 My sound is messed up. what do I do?
- Enter these commands

s_SpeakerConfig  2      - 2 is stereo config, seems to provide more consistent quality compared to surround
s_FormatType  3     - 24 bit sample rate sound if you want the sound to work

#8 How do I get level 50?????
- Enter this command

pp_unlockall 1   

#9 Everytime I quit I lose all of my levels? How do I save it?
- In order to keep them after you exit, you must first go to singleplayer.

#10 I can't respawn after I die twice?
- For all of you that have cheated, you've noticed that you cant respawn anymore. To fix this just type

g_godmode = 0

#11 I don't have a HUD? Whats going on?
- Unfortunatly the no HUD glitch happenes to everyone who joins a pro/custom server. If you want it working go to a standard server.

#12 How do I remap keys?
- Key Remapping guide http://pastebin.com/tUqTePHb dont use winzip, It wont let you do it. For an explanation look in the comments.

#13 How do I make a Dedicated server?

#14 So many cheaters, how do we stop them?
-So far the only way to stop the cheaters is this.

make a file called cheat.cfg

sv_sendConsoleCommand bind f1 quit
sv_sendConsoleCommand bind f2 quit
sv_sendConsoleCommand bind f3 quit

save it

then when you run the server type

exec cheat.cfg

If you make an anti-cheat server, just add it to the end of it's name, eg "zbest's anticheat server" so we all know its safe



#15 Ok thate's good and all but it's really annoying to have to type that everytime someone joins, is there a better way?

#16 Ugh, I have having to retype all of my commands everytime I start the game, what can I do?
- I just stumbled upon this awesome fix that can save you a headache. Depending on the circumstances the information in the system.cfg won't always run, for example, you have the resolution hard-coded to be 1080 x 720 but in the game you change it to 800 x 600. Next time you run the game it will still be at 800 x 600. For resolution that may be fine, but somethings you want to have the command run every time.
To do this make a file called autoexec.cfg in the main folder of the game. Inside it type your codes. For example mine has this in it.

pp_unlockall
r_driver dx10
sys_spec 4
q_quality 3

What this does is everytime the game runs it will set my level to 50, my direct x to 10, my graphics to veryhigh, and my shaders to max. This is usefull because the graphic settings sometimes revert and this will keep them where they should be, on top of that, it'll also keep your level at 50 without having to go to singleplayer first

It seems like the scoreboard bug is an issue with the user-interface as the stats are still recorded. Lets see if we can find a fix to make the scorboard work in other gametypes.

It has been brought to my attention that my original method using WinRAR did not work for most users. They would get a .pak file corruption error. Instead I use IZarc to open and edit the pak files.

Here are some examples of keys that aren't so obvious to replace in the config:

• lctrl - Left Control
• rctrl - Right Control
• lalt - Left Alt
• ralt - Right Alt
• pgdn - Page Down
• pgup - Page Up

*The melee key is called Special in the defaultProfile.xml file. Search "v" and you'll find it easily.*

You can also remap the buttons on your mouse. Since I have 5 buttons on my mouse, including the middle-click, I wanted my thumb button to be aim down the sight. The way I knew how to map this is that I went into the game and tried to remap ADS to my thumb button. It said "Mouse 4" is mapped. This is how I knew I needed to go into the XML file and change "mouse2" to "mouse4." The reason I mention this is because not everyone's thumb button will always be configured as Mouse 4. Hell, a lot of mice these days have two thumb buttons.

Ok, contrary to belief setting sys_spec_full to 4 does not force all very high settings, the shaders are still untouched. to fix insert these cvars into your system.cfg.

If you find Delta difficulty too easy (like me) there is a difficulty level 5 called "PC"
add to system.cfg (can not be edited once in game).

g_difficultyLevel = 5
1 = Easy 2 = Normal 3 = Hard 4 = Delta 5 = PC

Note: the .txt does not include default values.

It may work with the regular servers but I'm not sure. Keep in mind that you have to type that command everytime someone joins the server. Bind it to a key to make it easier.

It has turned into a project to create a Rcon client for Crysis2, with
some neat additional features.

If all goes well I should have an early version up tonight for testing.

Just so you know ... crysis 2 multiplayer SUCK BALLS ! It is the most shitty thing EVER ! Now only it is unbalanced but for example , you get killed by two shots ... what the **** ? you are in "the best suit in the world" but you get killed by two shots .... this is pretty buttshity multiplayer game. I hope its not the same in the final version ... plus you need, like , 2000$ computer to run it on low graphics .... crytek really felt down

If you don´t like the game, DON`T PLAY IT!!! BTW, the Crysis series has the best graphics on market.

I want it to be on Mouse Wheel up, as I can toggle it on/off, instead of holding the button.
