At the moment the focus is on Microsoft Windows, but maybe in the future there will be a MAC-OS X client.

No iOS version in the near future. We have to finish the Win project first ;)
Tunngle works on BootCamp installations and with VMs like Parallels. Possible that it works with Wine too. But atm there is a problem with the installation of the virtual Tunngle adapter.
For my own... i use my BootCamp ;)

Hi,

I Tried configuring VMWare Fusion to be able to launch Tunngle under Windows and Flatout2 on my Mac. but never
succeed to get a connection from flatout to Tunngle configuration.

The goal was to use Mac games version working with Tunngle on Windows...

Any idea on how to setup this environment ?

Thanks

I'm not familiar with VWWare Fusion but i'm sure it must work. Be sure that the Tunngle installation will install the virtual adapter correctly. The key must be the communication between the Tunngle adapter and the installed VMWare network adapter.

Thanks for your answer, you may be right, I maybe need to find the correct setting between Mac and Virtual Machine...
Will give some try and keep posted.

Well Well....... I tried many configuration on WMWare on the Mac here are my findings

- Running WMWare boot partition Windows 7 all is working fine.
- Running WMWare on the Mac and running Flatout in the WMWare window all is ok also, only graphic performance not very good
- Running WMWare and Tunngle in a window and trying to run the Mac Flatout version. Even by trying a lot of Network configuration never succeed.

Bad news so far, if by chance I found something I will post it, but not very optimistic....

Cheers

Hi Zax, Any news on a mac port yet? Even if you want beta testers, count me in!. I'm looking to play with the retail copy of Borderlands 2 on OSX. Running OSX 10.8.3 64 bit if that helps.

Hi :), no news yet. At the moment the Windows version is absorbing all our development power.
At the moment we do not have many people to code Tunngle and developing an OSX version would require us to stop working on the Windows version.
If you like Apple, you'll know that it's better to focus on things until they become perfect rather than doing two things poorly.

If we get more resources in the future, we will surely look into other platforms.
Maybe before that we can try to look into ways to allow you to play using an emulated environment. I'll try to discuss this at the next team meeting.

The Apple Bootcamp solution is the best way to play on a Mac over Tunngle at the moment (because it has the full power in case of a non-emulated environment). But i know that you suggest playing your OS games over LAN and not the Windows ones ;)

I literally do not have enough available space to use Bootcamp and VMWare expired on me. The only way I can use Tunngle would be a native version since i can not emulate windows. Any progress on a Mac native version? Thanks guys and keep up the good work

And yes, I know I could just use the Black List feature, but that wouldn't help much... He could still steal my nickname when I'm not around and impersonate me. He's an imposter and his behavior is unacceptable, he deserves to be permanently banned from Tunngle (if it's possible).
Dark Vortex 29 Icon : (21 August 2014 - 08:11 PM)
If the admins here have the ability to ban someone from Tunngle, please ban Avluv (Tunngle Username: Vulva7). This idiot constantly harasses me and others, steals my nickname in Worms 4: Mayhem, calls people "assnoobs" and harasses them when they don't play the same way he does (and he can't even play the game properly), and is very immature and insolent. He thinks he's superior and calls everyone "beginners". If he can be banned from Tunngle PERMANENTLY, please make it happen. I'd prefer an admin replying to this message, such as Brioche.
