I'm having problems with port forwarding since nothing happens at all. I followed all the instructions on how to but it really doesn't work. I can't seem to open the ports even though it is possible. Tried following the instruction on Linksys WRP200 since they both have the same interface.

Router Manual: http://home.wyoming....WRP400Guide.pdf

Port Range Forwarding: First Attachment

Port Range Triggering: Second Attachment

Firewall Config Page: Third Attachment

IP Address and Default Gateway: Fourth Attachment

Any kind of help would be appreciated

I am not so much into all this router stuff, though i see that you wrote 2 instead of 1 on the first picture's IP

Oh yes. I've been trying several numbers. Already tried 1 which is my default but it still doesn't work. I really don't get why I can't port forward at all.

Oh well, i tried! x)

My other guess would have been adding an X as the last number (or does X not count as 1-9 on routers?) - and maybe changing the protocol to both?
Also, normally a router is 192.168.(0 or 1).1 - are you maybe behind more than one router :)?

Other than that, stay put until tomorrow when Brochie is back on forum duty!

I'm behind another router, sorry. It's Inteno 5668b. Should it be the one that I need to port forward?

Well that depends, how is your setup?

Like this (LOOK AT MY AWESOME PAINT SKILLS)?

If so, then you should forward all the routers between your PC and the Ethernet entrance

There's another problem. I'm currently using wireless internet. My Ethernet won't work at all (in my laptop). I just remembered that one of my family members tripped on the cable that connects my laptop to the linksys router. I, then noticed that day, cannot use the Ethernet anymore. It does work on other laptops though. Does it affect port forwarding? ?(

Hi ?(. Connecting to the router via wireless shouldn't be a problem.
First of all you should set your pc on a static LAN IP address. You can find a guide here: http://www.hotcomm.c..._staticIPXP.asp
Then you should set your first router to forward 11155 UDP to the second router (192.168.15.17).
Then set the second router to forward 11155 UDP to your PC (192.168.15.x) where 192.168.15.x is the static LAN IP address you set on the first step.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to follow all your instructions carefully and step by step. I forward the first router to my second router and then to my laptop which already have a static IP. But still the port isn't opened.

Could you try hooking up your laptop directly to the Ethernet source, or maybe the first router?

Just to see if it works

I've restored the factory settings of my Linksys router just to make sure I didn't mess anything up. In the first attachment , I followed the instructions on how to change my IP into static instead of dynamic. The default IP address was 192.168.15.100. So I changed the 100 to 17.

The second attachment is my Inteno router. It is connected between the wall and my second router. I forward the ports to my second router (Linksys).

The third attachment is my Linksys router from where I get my wireless internet. I did the same thing but I forward it now in my laptop's static IP address.

@Sebastian: Unfortunately, I cannot do that. Because my Ethernet port in my laptop is not working meaning I can't connect it to my router.

Hi ?(. From a quick look at it it seems ok. Port test still fails? Try to play around with your router firewall settings.
Also can you please run this:
http://www.tunngle.n...-t22562/p1.html

Do you have any software firewall installed?

I went to the forums from the link you've provided. I was very lucky to be replied by the administrator himself. Portforward is now successfull. Thanks for the reference. I really appreciate the help.

After I ran [Beta] Tunngle Community Troubleshooter, it detected that the port is not yet forwarded. So it redirected me to a site which is PCWinTech
From there I downloaded a program called ''Simple Port Forwarding''. This one contains features such as: setting your local IP to static IP automatically, forward ports etc.
I did all of these manually but if you have problems doing it, then by all means download this great program. It does not have any malicious virus or anything that could destroy your computer. That I can assure you. Simple Port Forwarding<----- This is the link to the program. Screenshot of the program is attachment #1.

But the main problem here is not the port forward. Since I am behind two routers, I had to something about the first router. So how to setup two routers together? How To Setup Two Or More Routers Together

Quote

How To Setup Two or More Routers Together (Port Forwarding & Port Triggering)

One of the most common issues people encounter is when they have more than one router hooked up. Sometimes people don't realize their modem is also a router (Such as DSL) and other times people hook up an extra router to use things their router/modem doesn't have, such as wireless.
So now with 2 or more routers hooked up people start to realize port forwarding & port triggering isn't working. This is because they are only setting up the port forwarding or triggering in one router, which is what they should be doing! Now let me explain, no one wants to setup port forwarding & triggering rules in two or more routers, they should only need to do it in one, making things simple. But you may ask "If I have more than one router how can I keep it simple?" The answer: DMZ
First off DMZ is supported by nearly every router/modem out there. What DMZ does is allow you to tell the router to forward all incoming connections to a single IP address. So in this case we will setup DMZ in the first router to point to the second router. Now all incoming connections are sent to the 2nd router and thus your port forwarding & triggering will work again.

So here is a quick example. I log into router 1 and go to the DMZ settings and put the WAN IP address of the 2nd router there. Now router 1 is out of the way for port forwarding and triggering as all incoming connections are now being forwarded to router 2. Now in router 2 I can setup my port forwarding & triggering rules just like normal.
So here is a quick step by step.
Step 1. Login into your Router
Step 2. Find the status page that shows the WAN/Internet IP address and write it down.
Step 3. Log into the first router/modem now.
Step 4. Find the DMZ page
Step 5. Enter the IP you wrote down into the DMZ page and enable DMZ.
Step 6. Save and your done.
Quick Tip: You should setup a static WAN IP address for router 2. If you leave it on DHCP the IP could change thus breaking the DMZ and of course breaking the port forwarding & triggering.

I followed the instructions carefully and step by step. Second attachment shows what my Inteno DMZ page looks like and the third attachment is the information I needed to place in my DMZ page. In my third attachment, you can see that my default gateway is not the same as my Internet IP address meaning I'm behind another modem/router.
