Hey to all
I must admire that this is a great place for all gamers and i really look forward to see it full of people. As a fresh new user i think that Tunngle would put an end to the endless problems that Hamachi pose. Here is the story of my problem:
Me and my mate used to play Titan Quest over Hamachi and it run perfect, we could see each other games and play without any lag. But after 2-3 months i had to reinstall my windows XP and after that the hell begun. I reinstalled the game 2 days ago, install Hamachi and when i go to Titan Quest game lobby , i couldn't see his game , neither he could see mine. I was having same problems before in my life with a Hamachi , we tried many ways to avoid problem, read forums , gather information and still we couldn't see each other games. Then yesterday i see about Tunngle and visit it. I stayed very surprised to see other program like Hamachi and i really hoped that my problems with Hamachi comes to an end.
So i bravely uninstall Hamachi, install Tunngle program and enter it. It was all great - fresh new program with many perspectives for me to play games on net with buddies. So me and my mate enter Tunngle , run Titan Quest and miracle - his game was there !!! We felt so happy that we get rid of hamachi-problems. But of course our happiness didn't occur a long time. When we enter there was an ENORMOUS LAG for the man who join the game and BIG LAG for the host . We shut down skype and other programs that might getting the net speed , but our nets are with perfect - hight speed ! I just cant understand that lag .
PLEASE if anyone can help me , PLEASE !

Hi . Thank you for your trust in Tunngle .
I would suggest you to check your relative ping by hovering the mouse over your friend's nickname.
You can also try to ping him to see if everything is working correctly.
Also to gather some more info you should maybe run www.speedtests.net and attach here the results .
Be aware that some programs might affect the network performance or maybe other pcs running on your real lan are using up the bandwidth.
Also be sure that the two games are running the same version .

HEY there , what a fast reply !!!

Unfortunately i cant check his ping right now cause he would be able to join in 3-4 hours , but the results from the speed test are : 3776 download speed and 999 upload speed . I have static ip and i think that there are no other computers that could put obstacles in my path . We are 100% sure that the game version is the same !
P.S. I will be glad to receive more help, and i will post the results from pinging in 4-5 hours !

Hi . Thank you for the info. Maybe the problem is on your friend's side .
Game settings are fine (single player works without lags)? How long ago did you install the game? Tried reinstalling?
Running any antivirus/firewall?

I installed the game 2 days ago.I haven't reinstall it. Now i run system scan with nod32. In single player game run flawless. When my friend is online (in 4-5 hours) we will ping each other, he will scan and we will post the results.
I am really looking forward to solve the problem together !!!

I have played Titan Quest with my friend here in tunngle months ago, and we experience no lag. I suspect something is eating the bandwidth between both of you guys. It is not tunngle's fault. It is something else period.

You should check your ping, net speed seems fine.

I'd recommend disabling firewall protection for the TUnngle conection, works every time :)

So far we could try the game and the problem is all the same. I ping my mate in tunngle and the ping is 2 , he ping me in tunngle and the ping is 3. We shut down every program that could possibly draw the brandwidth , and the result is still the same - HUGE LAG , impossible to play. However we do some other observations :
1. The man who create the game (host) experience no lag in the game ( he just see other person not walking but "jumping" from point to point in the game )
2. The ping of the game in the game lobby of Titan Quest was in huge limits , every time we click refresh - from 94 to 7000
3. We stop talking and shut down Skype , but there wasn't any improvement

Also we checked tunngle and the program is in the list of exceptions in Windows Firewall

PLEASE if someone is experienced similar problem and has possible solution it would be great to write it !

Hi . Is your friend at your own place? A ping of 2 is a little bit low otherwise .

Hi . The best thing would be to test another game, so you would know if connection between you two is good.
Once you know that you can search for game problems .

A ping of 2 is impossible if you're not on the same router.

I think we have the same problem here. We are playing counter strike 1.6 with my friends every saturday but one of my friend can't play smoothly because his ping are too high. it range from 60 to 4000. I couldn't identify what the problem was. I thought it was the firewall or some anti-virus blocking the game's connection but i disabled all the firewall and uninstalled his anti-virus. Still he can't play. I wonder if it's a bug or something wrong with his pc. He is using Windows XP sp3.

how to do that? can u give me a detailed info on how to do this and what to do?

Hi . To ping someone, right click on his nick and choose copy ip to clipboard.
Then start->run->cmd type "ping IP" where you replace IP pasting the ip you copied .

Hi . I am glad to say that we made out the problem !!! It was the game version , of course ... The supporter in Tunngle told me as you can see above but we were sure that the game versions were the same ! ( in the left down corner it says : " 1.30" in both games ). But after wandering around my PC i saw that i was made update to version 1.30 like that : 1.01-->1.08-->1.15-->1.20-->1.30 (with 4 different patchs ) and my mate 1.01-->1.30 ( one patch ). Also the file size wasn't the same ( first case has greater file size of course ). I reinstall Titan Quest and then update it with the direct patch 1.01-->1.30 like my mate and then it was perfect !
