You can use this to check Tunngle Connectivity in case your preferred game is not working.
You will need a friend in the very same Tunngle network in order to test this.
Just tell him to run the server (by selecting his own ip in the list) and try to join him.
You can try vice versa if you want to check your hosting capabilities.
Choose a network that is not crowded for the test.
Choose the same port that your friend chooses .

Chat Server discovery works via UDP -> Will check UDP connectivity.
Chat messages go via TCP -> Will check TCP connectivity.

If you can chat it's good news. Maybe the game is the problem.

Tunngle Community Connection Test v0.0.0.13

You can use this to test your connection over the Tunngle adapter.
Be sure you choose a port in the valid range (1025-65535) or it won't work.
Only one client per server.
Of course the server needs to be allowed in windows firewall in order to work. These steps are the same you need to do in order to have your games working :).

Hello Brioche! When I type in my port an error message appears: "Tunngle is not logged in or Tunngle adapter is not priorizized." I know my main problem is not priority (beacuse I set tunngle on the top at the priority list) my problem is tunngle network try to get the IP from tunngle, but it can't get and make a false IP adress not working. PLZ HELP ME!!! Sorry for my bad English I'm hungarian.

Hi danix . Can you join networks and see guys in the networks?
You can take a screenshot of the Tunngle Adapter status once you're logged in and post it here so we can try to better help you .

Ok been trying to use this tcct to troubleshoot problems with a friend.

Tried everything i can possibly think of disabled all av/firewalls both sides, i myself have no problems connecting to lan games on tunngle, however he see's them and fails to connect.
His adapter priority is fine, seems everything in the troubleshooting section has been gone through and still no joy.

UDP/TCP both seem to be getting sent between us with tcct, when i connect to him he gets nothing showing on tcct no messages nothing, however when he tries to connect to me i get only a disconnection message from tcct, also when it searches for people in an empty room it brings back no tcct server either way.
UDP discovery does work it seems but only for me, i can see his ip from the search, but when he tries to search for me he doesnt see my server ip listed.

Any theories would be well appreciated as i am completely stumped here.

Hi . Which antivirus/firewall are you using?
Sometimes the antivirus/firewall installation is bugging and disabling the firewall is not enough.
You can try to check this: Firewall#Broken_Security_Suites .

Hi there. I was hoping to get some help with a problem I'm having. Me and my cousin are trying to get a game of Risk II going. We setup tunngle, forwarded ports for tunngle and Risk II. Problem is, I can't see/join his game, but he can see my game and can't connect.

We both downloaded the TCCT to see if we could solve it. He can run TCCT but I can't. I get the same error as danix up there gets: "Tunngle is not logged in or Tunngle adapter is not priorizized.". Now I know I have tunngle prioritized and I have everything allowed through windows firewall. Hoping I can get this figured out, as we both were really looking forward to playing this through tunngle.

Edit: figured out my problem at least. I uninstalled, rebooted, installed and rebooted. can connect to each other over tcct both ways. Now we just can't figure out why we can't join each others games over Risk II. Has anyone ever successfully joined a game in Risk II?

Me and my friend are trying to make Sacred work on Tunngle. We managed to get to the point where I can see his server, and try to join, but I get an error "error 10026: socket connect timed out without connection". It's strange because we managed to play together a few days ago and nothing should have changed meanwhile. Both of us can easily join a server hosted by others too. Firewalls are disabled on both sides, peerblocker, Tunngle is at top priority, port forwarding is not needed on his side and it's done on mine etc.

We decided to try this connection test tool and I don't know what to think of the result. My friend launched the tool and sees nothing in the list. When he enters his own tunngle IP, he gets an error "No server found". What does this mean? How can you not see yourself?

We are pretty much out of ideas. Please help!

Hi . This could mean that your firewall is not configured anymore or it is broken.
I recommend to run a virus/malware scan first (won't hurt anyway).

If that fails you can try to reconfigure your Firewall.
If that fails you can try to check Firewall#Broken_Security_Suites .
