Tunngle Community Troubleshooter - Beta - Handle with care - Your Risk

This is not official Tunngle software.
This is beta quality.
You can use this only to try to fix some issues on stubborn systems (like adapter not found, UPnP fail, port forwarding, not seeing all peers etc.).

v0.8 Added Tunngle UPnP option, improved checks, changed much of the Port Forward section, fixed several issues, improved adapter installation. Many other small things. (Much more reliable now).
v0.8.1 Fixed a premature closure issue on non latin systems. Fixed a premature closure issue if the close button was clicked before the completion. Optimized the gui. Changed version number format.
v0.8.2 Fixed Tunngle Service Startup Handling for v4.3.2.6.

In order to use this you need to have a Tunngle installation on your PC.
This is not a replacement for the original installer.

I strongly suggest that you create a system restore point before running this so that you can recover if anything goes wrong.
That said on my system works fine.

Hi . Thanks for report. It sounds that your system is Unicode and the troubleshooter doesn't like the ANSI junk it gets.
I'll see what i can do to fix that .

Have you had any experience with systems failing after using this? I'm a bit concerned about it since you talk about creating system restore points and stuff but at the same time I really like to resolve the tunngle adapter problem

I have a problem. After i used the programme, it appears this error, Configuring the Tunngle Adapter...FAILED. It asked me to add the network manually. But, when it is adding halfway through, it given me another error stating insufficient system resources exist to completed the requested service. Need help.

Hi . This is not the troubleshooter fault.
When you run it and the adapter is not installed, it tries to install it.
What you are getting is windows saying to you that the new adapter can't be installed because of "Insufficient System Resources". It's a system error related to your current machine configuration (probably ESET fault).

erm... so what is the solution? Coz from the link you gave me, I went to the [Solved] windows 7x64 tapinstall.exe failed and it says that i need to use Registry Mechanic to solve my problem. Sry for troubling you.

Hi . That's what we know about the trouble. Unfortunately at the moment there is no definitive solution. Some guys solved the problem via Registry Mechanics after complete ESET uninstallation.

Oh. Ok. So does it mean that i should not use ESET? Or can i settle the problem first, then i reinstall ESET?

Hi . ESET is surely linked to the problem. You might be running in the same problem again. Anyway i can't say for sure .

You have to ask ESET. It's an ESET problem. It's not just the Tunngle adapter. It's any network adapter .
