Hello. I have 2 pc's, first is connected to internet directly, and second is connected to internet through a lan with the first one. But when i launch tunngle on the first pc, second pc loses its connection to internet :). When i close tunngle it gets its connection back. Any ideas?
P.S. I am using win xp sp3, with third party antivirusfirewall, tunngle is added to exeptions. Windows firewall is turned off.

Hi :). Check this topic out: http://www.tunngle.n....html#post97782
For internet connection sharing you need to change the Tunngle default port and forward it to the client pc :).

The reason for this is very simple :)
If you start Tunngle, the program will switch the network adapter whereat you connect to internet. That mean you'll have an other IP - more exact the tunngle IP :)

So... I added Tunngle service to properties of connection that provides internet to my 1st pc (the one that has sharig options on). I set port to UDP 11160 and ip to ip of my 2nd pc. And set portforwarding for 11160 port in tunngle options. Though when i clicked test, it said to me: Der freigegebene Port ist von aussen nicht erreichbar, which i assume is not good? B) Internet connection on 2nd pc wasnt restored too... I think i did something wrong, because i cant understand what all of this has to do with sharing internet connection. To clarify: i have no tunngle installed on 2nd pc. Do i need to install it in order to make this work? So that internet connection will be shared through tunngle? o_O
P.S. I must have wrote someting extremly stupid here, sorry if this is the case... B)

Hi B). No you don't need that port forward in this case.
How did you configure the ICS? What software did you use?
Edit: Port forward test: blue=success yellow=fail B).

I used a wizard to configure it on both pc's, dont remember much about it... ; My firewallantivirus is Kaspersky Internet Security 2010, it recognized tunngle as network connection, and properties for it is something like: block access from without (i use the same settings for my connection to internet and hamachi)... Hi B). Can you post a pic of the configuration of the wizard? Because the wizard is most likely the reason for that connection failure. On a well configure ICS system the other pc won't loose the connection on the other pc B).

Well, i just launched it, to see what it does, and the wizard just asks which connection leads to internet, which to lan, and other things like workgroup and name of pc. I dunno how it handles connection sharing, and where to look for it ; There is just one thing in control pannel>network connections>my connection to internet>additional
where name for local network to share internet connection is set... Thats all. As for the lan itself, i think it would be quicker if i just write it:
workgroup: WORKGROUP
ip: 1st pc 192.168.0.1 2nd pc 192.168.0.5
(under?)network mask : 255.255.255.0 for both pcs
and for 2nd pc: primary gateway 192.168.0.1
and dns-server 192.168.0.1

Hi B). Open the command prompt (Start->Run->Cmd) and type ipconfig /all .
Take a screenshot of the result and attach it here.
Then open Tunngle to the point where the other pc looses connection.
Go to the command prompt and type route print.
Post a screenshot of the result B).

Hi . I suggest that you uninstall the current utility you used for configuring ICS cause it probably created some configuration you don't need and that is causing the problem.
Clean up and then use Microsoft wizards for ICS. Windows has all the tools to do that without any additional software ;).
You can find guides online like http://www.practical...S/serverwiz.htm .
Skip and "bridged" part. This is what it fixed the problem via "personal message" the last time in the topic i pointed out before :D.

Well, the windows wizard was actually the one i used to configure it ; ...you mean i need to make a network bridge? Tunngle with lan, or lan with internet?

Hi . Try disabling the hamachi adapter.
Off topic question: is the Tunngle adapter on top?
Can you please attach a screen of your network connections and of the ICS sharing section.
You also need to go to the second pc when it looses the connection and make some screens of the connection details.

Sorry for not responding for so long, there was always something else to do... :)
Yes, tunngle adapter is on top, and it didnt helped when i disabled hamachi...
Here are the results for ipconfig /all and route print on 2nd pc, they are the same before and after i launch tunngle.
And the screen of my internet connections and ics: The phrase "Подключение по локальной сети" means Lan connection - this is the name of network connection which, naturally, leads to LAN. It is written under the phrase "Подключение домашней сети" which means home network connection...

Hi :). Try to go to the ICS client, right click on the network adapter over which you are accessing the shared connection and select properties.
In the Ipv4 properties, select use manual DNS and try these two 208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220 .
If it doesn't work, reset the DNS to auto.

Wow, it worked, thank you very much!
Where did you get these numbers? :) So this was something to do with my improper configuration of ics?

Hi :). Glad it worked :D.
Those are the ip of the Open DNS servers. If you want you can also use the DNS servers of your original connection (you can see them in the connection status when the dialup is connected)
It seems that ICS DNS is not working properly. We will investigate this when we have some time :).
