Thanks to Portforward.com for adding us and to all the Tunnglers for their excellent support spreading the word B)

To the guides -> http://www.portforwa...unngleindex.htm

1. Select your router model

2. Click on 'Click here to skip this advertisement...' on the top right (or take a look on the charged offer B))

3. Follow the intructions

Note:
Go to System - Options and push the TEST button for a port check.
If your port is correctly open, you must get the following message:

:(

Note2: Don't use the Portforward.com Portchecker Tool to check your Tunngle ports! The Tunngle Port is in use! You will get a wrong result.

Hi ;). Yes it's very strange because you can't use the PortForward without getting this external paid software advertisement. :cursing:
Also the link ZAX posted, first thing that is on the site is the external paid software advertisement

Hi :). You hardly let go :cursing:. Right, i guess life is hard and teaches us that we should always defend and protect ourselves :).

Just a few notes for the future:
You can post links to external sites provided that they respect the following sequence:
  • They are related to Tunngle to some acceptable degree.
  • The explicit linked content is not a third-party paid offer (we can't invite Tunnglers to pay for additional softwares/services that they can easily do without). This does not include the ads redirecting to paid offer that can be very well present in any linked site (otherwise we would be excluding the whole web).
  • They are not introduced with sentences that might look as advertising (for example try this, this is interesting, this is cool, this is so great etc). (c is considered the appeal rule for violation of ;).
  • They do not contain false information about Tunngle.

In the off topic forum some of these rules might be loosened a bit.

These does not seem hard rules, and have been applied by me only two-three times in my whole moderation effort :).
Please let this go :). It's not the end of the world. Moderation is a tough job, i can assure you that we never like deleting stuff, and for sure we do very rarely and only when we think it's necessary. I am really sorry to have upset you cause this was not my intention. I really like your support and i really want you being around  .

This is great, though I'm hoping that Tunngle would be able to work without having to forward ports, like hamachi does. Then again, even hamachi has a guide up there as well.

Hi :cursing:. Thank you, your words are very wise. We are in the progress of fixing the current bugs with the UPnP operation and investigating some false positive issues that seems to arise with certain router firewalls (that hamper the correct operation of Tunngle). These should make life easier.
The Team is literally working overnight because we want to kick out the international release as soon as possible ;).
Also consider that hamachi uses relays (that is makes data pass through their servers thus bypassing NAT problems) when they have troubles. Tunngle on the other side is pure p2p. Your connections with others are always direct.
We are also looking for ways to make port forwarding easier for those cases in which it is required but we are confident that these router problems should decrease as long as BETA proceeds .

Excellent! This is great to hear! It's fantastic to see that the developers are reading/listening to the user base and responding appropriately. Because of this, progress is heading in the right direction :). Thanks guys!
This is actually what I'm looking forward to the most in this international release. I understand not all bugs will be fixed, but it'll be good to use a more stable program ;). Of course, the english interface will certainly be helpful :cursing:.

Hey Brioche . Of course I couldn't give up that easily because I care so much about Tunngle.
When I'm discussing about rule, it doesn't mean I'm upset. I'm not upset, I'm interested.
Also it's not moderator's job, to claim that one is happy or upset. Let's not bring this to personal, please.

Moderation job may be tough now, but hell of sure it's getting tougher when international version is out.
Unlike you told, discussing about rule is not allowed after all, I see.

Anyway thanks for support :cursing:

Hi . You must type your pc ip.
To do this go to network connections (manage adapter settings), right click on your internet connection, select status, click details. The ipv4 address of your pc is the right one.
Be sure you select your internet connection (the one that links you to the router).
